Hey everyone! Zach, Darren and Trevor are going to be hosting a screening of the WKUK movie THE CIVIL WAR ON DRUGS in NEW YORK!
It’ll be at the UCB THEATER on Saturday, October 1st at 11 PM!
There’ll be a Q&A afterwards! So come on out, get messed up and watch us pretend to be in the Civil War!!!
Tonight, the final episode of the Whitest Kids U’ Know airs on IFC and I’d just like to say ‘thank you’ to all of you out there who have tuned in week after week, sent our sketches around youtube and told everyone about our little show.
It’s hard to believe that its been 5 years since we debuted on the Fuse network ( right before Pants Off Dance Off! ) and so many of you have been so kind and supportive since day one.
I remember doing a live interview on Steve’s Untitled Rock Show, only one week after the show came out, and being shocked that so many people who liked the show actually came down to the studio to say ‘Hi’ and stand outside the window (in the rain even!).
When the show moved to IFC, I was, again, shocked by how many of you wrote in saying you were going to add the channel so you could watch our show. And every time we’ve toured, it’s been amazing how nice and cool everybody we’ve met has been. ( Hardly any of you give us a hard time about how crappily rehearsed our live shows are!)
If it wasn’t for so many of you sending our sketches around the Internet, we never would have gotten the show, and if it wasn’t for you guys embracing the show the way you did, we’d never would have been picked up by IFC, and if it wasn’t for how awesome you’ve been to us since then, we’d never have been able to do 5 seasons.
This isn’t the end of the story. We’ll still tour as a troupe, we’ll still make specials and we’re writing a new film as we speak – but we’re getting to the end of a chapter. And it’s been a great chapter thanks to you guys.
Love you all, see you soon
(And a very special thanks to everyone at IFC for putting up with us for all these years. We’d never have been able to make a show this dirty, anywhere else )
When: Thursday June 9th, 8pm
Where: 92Y Tribeca
200 Hudson St
New York, NY 10013
I hope you can come join us to see the whole thing from start to finish without those pesky recaps!

It’s true, on April 15th at 10pm et/pt our fifth and final season is premiering on IFC.
Now I’ve been seeing a lot of posts from fans upset that we’re stopping the show and I want to just say that we are all still friends and Whitest Kids is still something. So even if we aren’t on IFC, don’t worry, we’ll still be making or performing comedy. Now we’re all concentrating on what’s next for us and in a lot of cases these post-”whitest kids on IFC” projects are things we are getting each other involved with.
Please spread the word to watch the show this season. Every episode we shot will end with an installment of “The Civil War on Drugs”, a mini mini series we made about two friends in the 19th century who accidentally think that the Civil War is being fought over pot and take it upon themselves to “legalize it”. We wrote it as a movie so if you take the time to, you could edit them all together and it would work… or maybe someone will take the time to do that and put it up on some torrent sites. Hopefully we’ll be able to screen it as a whole somewhere or release it as its own thing so keep an eye out for that.
Enjoy and keep checking in here when the show is airing cause I’m sure we’ll do some sort of live chat like we have in past seasons.
Hey everyone – the screening of the Whitest Kids movie needs to be postponed until the new year. We will let everyone know the details once we know more. Thanks! And sorry about that.
But on the bright side. We’re really happy with it and can’t wait for everyone to see it!
Thanks everyone for sending your e-mails! We’ll get in touch with everyone over the next week or so.
And even if you don’t get a ticket to the screening – the movie will be coming out pretty soon! We’ll update here with more info as soon as we can! Thanks again everyone!
