   I’m not a huge Shepard fan, but this play has always been one of my favorites. The Sinese/Malkovich version is unbeatable. Although I wish I’d been able to see the Philip Seymour Hoffman/John C. Reilly version on Broadway a few years back.

   Hey, Darrin. Am I the first guy to post a comment on your blog? So I was doing some facebook bs last night, putting up photos of the Austin show, and came across this post about the same time I was thinking about watching a film.

   True West, this version at least, is amazing. you mentioned JM, but Sinese, i think, really goes toe to toe with him. Especially toward the end when they’re character’s flip roles.

   But I guess you just know everything ‘cuz your a big actor now, boy, huh. i know ’bout acting. what you think i don’t know.

   Anyway, I’ll be in the city from the 7th to the 16th. Any shows to recommend? I’m definitely going to try and hit up the UCB theater one of the nights I’m there, but figured you might have some other good suggestions, especially dramas.
