Timmy’s Tour T-Shirt Blog #2
Monday, February 16th, 2009Well I have a couple of minutes here in Boulder so it’s time to play catch-up! ¬†Here are two shirts I bought last week somewhere in the vast empty expanse that is Montana:
Shirt #1:

Oh, is the type on the front too small? ¬†Here, let me turn around…

If you look closely, the drill in the middle looks like a 4! ¬†DRILL 4 AMERICA? ¬†If you hold down “shift” and hit 4, you also get $. Whoah. ¬†Hidden meanings. ¬†At any rate, this shirt is ridiculous. ¬†All others Palin in comparison.
How about crazy Right Wing shirt #2?

Yeah!  Kill them birds!  What?  This shirt treats birds like terrorists.  Nice.
Also, the phrase is actually “birds of a feather,” not “birds of the same feather,” but maybe the printers made more money this way. Lastly, they did indeed add blood drizzling out of the dogs mouth. ¬†Pretty.
Well, that’s it for my Montana shirts! ¬†I would expect nothing less (crazy) from the place that gave us the Unabomber and the Freemen! ¬†Thanks, Montana!
Timmy’s Tour T-Shirt Blog #1
Monday, February 16th, 2009Hey everyone! ¬†I have a blog here! ¬†If you read it every day, I’ll buy you ice cream!
So we’re out on tour right now, and whenever we’re driving around the country I like to find the craziest truck stop T-Shirts I can dig up! ¬†And now I can post them here for all to see! ¬†Let’s start with one I picked up at a gas station a few hours south of Denver yesterday!
Yes, it is pink, and you can’t tell from the picture, but it sparkles. ¬†This piece is perfect for everything from tea-time to clubbing. ¬†Very versatile.
I also found some shirts in The Middle of Nowhere, Montana that I can only describe as “Creepily Right-Wing For A T-Shirt.” ¬†I’ll post those soon, as well as any other new finds!¬†
Have fun!
TOUR ENTRY #4: RETURN OF THE BUS!
Thursday, February 12th, 2009The bus is back! He got better and caught up with us!
We are in San Diego right now, we’re not doing a show here unfortunately – but we are screening the movie tonight. Then we drive to Arizona! That’s the state where they make all that ice tea!
Last night’s show in Los Angeles was fun. We went to a bar with a bunch of people after the show and we drank thousands of drinks. My cousin came to the show so I got to hang out with him for a bit and Ivan (the guy who edited season 1 and 2) was there, so it was nice seeing him again.
Oh and Sam threw his back out during the show last night, so he might be pretty stiff for the rest of the tour dates. That’s all I got for now!
TOUR ENTRY #3: BUS DOWN
Wednesday, February 11th, 2009So we left San Francisco and drove all night to try and get to Los Angeles . . . but the bus that Sarah, Josh and I were on blew up!! (Sarah Jean Underwood is in our movie and touring with us for the week and Josh Fadem is a very funny comedian who is opening for us all tour.) We had to abandon it and everyone had to pile onto the other bus.
So now we’re down to one bus.
R.I.P. Bus #2
2009 -2009
Now we’re all in Los Angeles. Zach and I filmed some promo spots for Comedy Central, MTV and No Good Television and now we’re about to go do a show at the El Ray. We get to stay in LA tonight so that’s cool – then tomorrow it’s off to San Diego. (Hopefully … it’s all up to you, Bus #1!!!!)
TOUR ENTRY#2: Long country is long.
Sunday, February 8th, 2009It takes forever to drive across this thing!! We have been on the bus for two days now! The bus drivers haven’t slept in about 28 hours! They’re crazy! They don’t even seem tired – we keep asking them if they’re ok – and they just laugh at us! We stopped once in Montana and once in Idaho. I bought a a guitar for 30 bucks and Sam bought the movie SpaceBuddies. It’s a children’s movie based off of the Air Bud character. Except there are 4 dogs and they talk now. One of them is a rapper – like in the Transformer’s movie.
We should arrive in Seattle tonight, which will be nice. We can go to a bar or see the city a bit before the show tomorrow. I am going to try and get a picture taken in front of the Kurt Cobain statue that I’m assuming they have.
TOUR ENTRY #1 Minneapolis is cool looking!
Friday, February 6th, 2009Hey! I’m just testing this thing out. The new web site is all fancy!
I am in Minneapolis right now and it looks pretty rad. The bus drove into the city at sunrise and it’s so cold here that every building shoots huge clouds of steam into the sky. It looks future-y!
This is what happened this week:
On Monday morning I got up at 4 am to take a plane to Syracuse where we did early morning radio interviews and then a morning tv show, then we did a press junket in the hotel all day, held a screening of Miss March and did a WKUK show that night. I got back to the hotel at midnight, had one drink with Sam at the hotel bar, then went to sleep for 3 hours, got up flew to Toronto, where we did radio all morning, press junkets for the rest of the day, another screening and then a WKUK show at the local Yuk Yuk’s comedy club, then back to the hotel for 3 and a half hours sleep this time and then we caught a flight to Ann Arbor! In Ann Arbor we got two huge buses that have Zach and my faces on the side of them (which is a little weird) we did radio, press junkets, a screening and a show and then drove all night (for a whopping 6 hours of sleep!! YAAY!) to Chicago! In Chicago we did the Mancow radio show in the morning, a bunch more press stuff, met up with Craig Robinson, got to take a tour of Playboy’s offices, did another screening and then another WKUK show at night. Craig was nice enough to come out during the show and make a cameo appearance. Then we jumped back on the bus, drove all night (6 hours sleep again!) and arrived here in Minneapolis.
It’s been a lot of fun and we have five more weeks to go. We don’t have any shows this weekend – but we have to be in Seattle on Monday, so we’ll probably just be driving the whole time. Anyway, I’ll try to keep posting on this thing! Hope to see you at one of the shows! Or if we’ve already seen you, then thanks for coming out! ![]()
loveyoubye
